Springing into April!
30th March 2026
The busy thread to the start of the year has continued through March with some very nice enquiries from clients old and new.
We visited a rather sensitive Industrial site earlier in the month to survey an internal cladding job as part of the finishing touches to a multi million pound refurb. 35,000 Ft2 of internal cladding requires cleaning of years of build up of industrial grime. This job is right up our street! There are the usual access difficulties concerning industrial sized cable trays and we have had to be pretty inventive as to how we are going to tackle access.
A local high school in North Tyneside got in touch last week requesting a multitude of our services. Within 24 hrs of receiving the enquiry through our website we had been in touch with the client and carried out a site survey. Part of the school has been demolished and a new building has taken its place, whilst further demolition and new construction is ongoing. The Financial Manager for the school has requested costs for an annual external window clean, Reach and Wash annual clean to external cladding and cladding cleaning. Gutter cleaning to a number of 2 storey buildings which is perfect work for our Gutter Vac team. Recently installed on site are PV stations constructed on canopies approx 3M High totalling over 1000 m2 of PV’s to be cleaned. Our Reach and Wash Teams will make light work of this!
An upturn in enquiries from our much loved domestic clients has also been keeping us busy following a great little video put together for us by our great friends and long-term website design and marketing partners at Lazy Grace (additional feature to come - watch this space). A day of onsite filming took place while our ops were carrying a range of Spring cleaning works for a client in Ponteland. Our scope of works was pretty extensive involving, Soft Washing of white rendered walls and outside pizza oven which sit under a pergola. The client had artificial turf installed 7 years ago, unable to maintain a real lawn due to travel commitments at the time. The client also has a dog which generally uses the turf as a toilet. Surrounded by mature shrubs and in the shade of a beech tree there is a degree of moss and weed growth in artificial turf. We are able to treat and clean artificial turf by pre treating with a specialist pre-treatment cleanser which disinfects the surface through its pile to the base below. We can also supply scented cleanser which neutralises any unpleasant odours which can develop depending on how the turf has been laid. Twenty minutes after application we agitate the surface by hand using stiff yard brooms and finally rinse with our power wash /jet wash.
Further works included Patio paving cleaning, rotary jet washing of resin bound driveway and paths. Patio furniture needed freshening up and received a thorough jet wash down including upholstery, blasting away moss, guano and the remnants of last year BBQ parties, all fresh and ready for the summer alfresco dining and drinks season…..bet you can’t wait!?
The client went the whole hog and had us clean the roof which was covered in moss which comes in from local parkland trees. We deployed our new Roof Wand system which worked a treat. Just the sort of job we like which deploys some of our most up to date external cleaning equipment using the most up to date cutting edge external cleaning technology.

We were recently back on site at the Glasshouse after receiving a call from their backstage tech dept. Our assistance has been requested to come up with an access strategy to facilitate the removal of high level motors. Scaffolding is highly cost prohibitive in these situations so we were called to look for potential Access Solutions and Safe Working At Height strategy to get specialist engineers in a position to work safely and efficiently in comfortable and secure environment along side our IRATA L3 and L2 Techs. Industrial Rope Access solutions is very much a core discipline for us with over 30 years of experience to call upon.
Our Rope Access Teams continue to be busy on local projects and will be deploying to London for April and much of May to carry out planned Rope Access Works to Travelodge Hotels within the M25 and the Capital. Rope Access industrial Rope Access window cleaning works will continue throughout 2026.
Some of Our Reach and Wash Window Cleaning Teams will also be joining our Industrial Rope Access Technician window cleaners in the Capital next month having just returned from a 2 week trip covering Cornwall and the South West.
