Case Study - Access Consultancy

Elm Park, Dublin 4 is a new build state of the art vast mixed development of superior office accommodation and upmarket luxury residential development.

Tom O’Brien, Operations / General Manager of Aylesbury Services, Ireland’s largest privately owned cleaning and support Services Company asked if we could look at and assess the access issues relating to window cleaning at Elm Park.

We conducted a 2 day access consultancy / site survey and delivered our report and recommendations as to what methods of access required to be adopted regarding window cleaning and on going external maintenance at Elm Park. There was a mixture of rope access aid climbing and specialist spider MEWPs required for the job in hand. We produced risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work, put together a window cleaning schedule, testing and inspection procedures of all work positioning and fall arrest points on site. We were commissioned to carry out the works on an ongoing basis and remain to this day the sole contractor of choice in Ireland for all of Aylesbury Service’s specialist access solutions sites.
